CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The ACC announced today it has expanded its partnership with Elevate, an award-winning, full-service consulting firm supporting high-performing organizations in sports and beyond. The enhanced relationship will focus on group sales strategy for multiple ACC Championship ticketed events including Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Baseball, and Gymnastics.
Elevate previously teamed with the conference to advance business intelligence and analytics, revenue optimization and the fan experience. Since the fall of 2022, the ACC has utilized Elevate Marketplace to create efficiencies in ticket pricing, scaling, sales, and distribution; in 2023, the agency became the league’s preferred secondary ticket market reseller.
"Our expanded partnership with Elevate will further our commitment to creating exceptional championship experiences for our schools, alumni, fans, and partners,” said ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips, Ph.D. “Our collective focus on innovation, business intelligence and analytics will allow us to pursue enhanced revenue streams and growth opportunities for the league.”
“We are honored to strengthen our partnership with the ACC,” said Al Guido, Elevate Chairman | CEO Al Guido. “One that empowers our agency to leverage our award-winning business intelligence and industry expertise to support the conference’s momentum and continued success. We look forward to our expanded collaboration with Commissioner Jim Phillips, who shares our dedication to building impactful programs and campaigns that drive innovative new revenue streams, fan engagement, and opportunities for our universities.”
“We are proud to continue our longstanding relationship with the ACC by extending our partnership to support group sales efforts for many of the league’s most exciting, ticketed championship events,” said Jonathan Marks, Chief Business Officer of Elevate Marketplace and Campus Initiatives. “We are thrilled to add group sales strategy and execution to the suite of revenue-driving and analytics-founded solutions we offer to the ACC, notably during this significant period in college athletics. We look forward to continuing to work alongside the ACC to curate and build new engagement platforms and opportunities that connect ACC fans meaningful with leading college athletics events.”
To support the new partnership initiative, Elevate will hire a sales team to be based at the ACC’s headquarters in Charlotte, N.C., and led by Roy Tewell, Elevate Vice President of Sales and Service.
Elevate previously studied the 2023 Ally ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament and 2023 New York Life ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament, utilizing fan-driven data, including surveys and focus groups to generate a ticketing and marketing strategy that optimized the fan experience, created new, high-end ticket and experiential packages, and maximized ticket revenue streams. Elevate additionally executed a ticketing operation and event strategy for the 2022 ACC Football Championship Game.
Employing trends from millions of ticketing and attendance data points and drawing upon its considerable experience and proven pricing models, Elevate Insights and Elevate Marketplace builds comprehensive pricing studies and strategic action plans for clients to maximize ticketing revenues for collegiate and professional sports teams, organizations, and venues, in concert with client primary and secondary ticketing platforms and providers. Elevate Insights utilizes industry-leading data, analytics, and technology tools to drive major revenue solutions for teams, venues, events, brands, and properties, including market feasibility studies, sponsorship and impact valuations for rights holders and brands, fan profile analyses, product and pricing strategies, lead scoring modeling, and more.
