“For a professional team or municipality considering building or renovating an arena or stadium; for a business considering investment into a new endeavor in the sports and entertainment industry; for a sports brand or property pursuing a fresh marketing, sales or operational strategy, our Insights team can design the right playbook,” said Thomas Bernstein, Elevate Sports Venture’s Vice President of Insights. “Our people, process, and technology solutions are informed by Silicon Valley’s most innovative startups and road-tested in the front offices of our partners. Most importantly, our solutions are 100 percent bespoke for each of our clients and derived from data-driven, fan-centered analytics.”

“We see Elevate Insights as the first of several branded verticals that our agency will unveil over the next year,” said Flavil Hampsten, Chief Operating Officer of Elevate. “During this critical period for sports teams and venues, given changes in consumer engagement habits and front office composition, as well as the fluidity of season and game schedules, we felt compelled to bring this data-driven and revenue focused offering to market. Our data rich and fan-first approach combined with a best-in-class BSI group will provide teams and properties, at every level in their business lifecycle, with smart strategic and actionable insights once only available at the highest and most mature level of the industry.

To support the endeavor and lead solutions architecture and delivery for the new analytics-driven platform, Elevate has named 17-year product development veteran Thomas Bernstein to the role of Vice President of Elevate Insights. Bernstein has spent the past decade launching and advising technology startups in a variety of industries, including sports, education, and finance, leading efforts to secure over $300M in venture capital across 40+ companies as a COO, head of product, and management consultant.

Recently assigned Elevate Vice President of Business Development Alexa (Linger) Huchingson, will likewise play a considerable role in developing Insights-based solutions for clients. In her role, Huchingson will be responsible for securing long-term new business partners in professional and collegiate sports and entertainment, as well as provide best-in-class thought-leadership for Elevate’s rapidly growing roster of diverse clients.  Prior to joining Elevate, Huchingson was Chief Revenue Officer at Navigate Research where she secured research and consulting partnerships with professional sports teams and leagues, Fortune 500 brands, media networks, national agencies and Division I Universities. Huchingson’s consulting experience and vast rolodex stems in part from her time with IMG College, where she managed over 150 national, regional and local partners.

Recently announced, 20-year industry veteran, Executive Vice President Chris Allphin brings a depth of experience in naming rights and dynamic corporate partnerships to Elevate; and is expected to play a significant role in delivering the Insights platform to the marketplace.  During his eight-year tenure as Head of the Team Advisory Group at Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment, following a decade at Wasserman, Allphin led engagements with the Minnesota Vikings and U.S. Bank Stadium, Atlanta Braves and Truist Park, and Texas Rangers and Globe Life Stadium; three of the industry’s most recent, new-build premium ticketing and sponsorship projects.

The unveiling of the Insights platform follows the recent announcement that 20-year sports industry veteran Chip Bowers has been named Elevate’s President; capping two years of unprecedented success for the young agency, now boasting a client roster including teams, brands and venues from among the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, professional US and international football, international soccer, professional tennis, automotive and horse racing, Division I Athletics and more. Elevate received its first nomination to SportsBusiness Journal’s acclaimed Sports Business Journal Awards in the “Best in Property Consulting, Sales and Client Services” category this year, an event which will be held virtually on Wed., Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. EST.
