USC Athletics Retains Dynamic Pricing Partners to Maximize Fan Value

The University of Southern California Athletics Department has engaged Dynamic Pricing Partners (DPP), the best-in-class pricing, analytics, and ticket distribution technology division of Elevate, to oversee a data-driven pricing analysis and provide pricing optimization. In leveraging Dynamic Pricing Partners to maximize revenue and drive attendance for USC Athletics, the DPP team brings more than 10 years of experience with over 70 college athletics departments providing proven, innovative solutions.

Analyzing trends from hundreds of thousands of ticketing and attendance data points and drawing upon its own considerable experience, DPP will conduct a comprehensive data-driven study to maximize the industry best-practice pricing models with a focus on driving value for the USC fanbase and Athletics Department when spectators are permitted to return to USC Athletics events. USC Chief Marketing Officer Craig Kelley has led the way on innovating in ticket distribution, employing an analytics-based approach to pricing that will allow USC to leverage additional data and experience from the newly combined power of the DPP and Elevate Insights team.

“We are at a pivotal point in college sports, and we haven’t hosted fans at our events in nearly two years, so we are taking advantage of the opportunity to examine, analyze, and maximize  what products our fans most desire,” said Kelley.  “As we look to execute on that vision, an extremely important part is working to understand all the data points that we have at our fingertips along with the data and analysis that the Dynamic Pricing Partners team can provide.“

“I’ve always admired that innovation has driven strategy for Craig and USC Athletics, creating a continuous focus on the experience for fans on game day,” said Jonathan Marks, Chief Executive Officer of Dynamic Pricing Partners. “Integrating USC’s historical ticketing data with our proprietary insights and data, and that of our Elevate Insights team, will allow us to drive increased attendance and revenue for USC that will enable Craig to realize his vision for Trojan fans in the near future. Assisting USC Athletics in meeting the fans where they desire value is our main focus”
